Frantic Farms was started in 1950 by my mother and father, Hazel and Robert Easter, when the state of WV took over the Easter family farm, at the site where the West Virginia Arts and Crafts Fair is today. My brother and I both live here with Mom and Dad, just moving to different parts of the farm to build our homes. I also have one daughter and a son living on the farm, with another daughter living too far away, with her husband. Frantic Farms has raised Hereford and Limosin cattle, various other animals, and of course, cocker spaniels. The first cocker I can remember was Pennelope Ellen, a small buff girl, and since I was born in 1957, that was a very long time ago. |
